The Space

Improving Houston's location features a spacious conference room with presentation equipment, comfortable seating, and a welcoming atmosphere for technical discussions and presentations. Ample free parking is available in the building's parking lot.

• DO NOT ARRIVE AT THE VENUE BEFORE 6:00 PM; DO NOT LINGER AT THE VENUE AFTER 9 PM Improving Houston is a business. As such, the space is used before the meetup for business. It's also not nice to hang out in a business's lobby.
• The door is locked after 7 PM, so try to get there before that. If the door is locked and the security guard isn't there, simply message in Discord.

This meeting space includes a kitchen. You're welcome to use it or break away if a talk doesn't interest you and you want to socialize.

What is Improving Houston?

Improving specializes in AI, data, and application development. They have offices in many different states and countries. Aside from in-office development work, during the day, Improving Houston hosts educational courses, classes, and seminars in their office space to up-skill and train employees and consultants. Some of those on-site courses include SCRUM, Agile development, and project management.

What does Improving do for HOSS?

After-hours they open up this space for use by select community groups. They've allowed us to make use of this space which is already configured perfectly for what we do.

Improving doesn't just provide space to the group. They also graciously sponsor the meetings with pizza and soft-drinks.
