First Wednesday Meetings

What to Expect: First Wednesday meetings typically feature technical talks, lightning presentations, and networking opportunities. The venue provides a professional setting conducive to both learning and community building.

• DO NOT ARRIVE AT THE VENUE BEFORE 6:00 PM; DO NOT LINGER AT THE VENUE AFTER 9 PM Improving Houston is a business. As such, the space is used before the meeting for business. It's also not nice to hang out in a business's lobby.
• The door is locked after 7 PM, so try to get there before that. If the door is locked and the security guard isn't there, simply message in Discord.

Food and Drinks

Improving sponsors the meeting with pizza and soft-drinks. This is currently our only event with sponsored food.

Improving Houston is a software consultancy firm located in the Westchase area, near the intersection of Beltway 8 and Richmond Avenue. The office is located on the ground floor of the Westchase Oaks building.

• Inside Directions From the main entrance of the Westchase Oaks building, Improving Houston's office is immediately on your left.
